Guests Room Renovation (all types) (06/01/08 to 12/07/08)
We are pleased to inform you that Pathumwan Princess Hotel will be renovating the 462 guest rooms, giving a new feel and look. The innovative makeover adds a touch of Modernity-meets-Thai tradition.
The room upgrade will be gradually taken several phases to finish the redecoration process throughout the year 2008 and 2009. Each phase will take approximately 90 days. The 1st phase will start on this coming June 1st, 2008. During the renovation process of each phase, we will take every precaution to minimize any disturbance to our guests and visitors. For example, when we are renovating the 15th floor, we will block the lower 14th floor and the higher 16th floor; effectively all 3 floors will not have any guests during the renovation period. This will ensure that guests on the other floors will not be affected or inconvenienced, or, should there be any disturbance, it will be kept to a bare minimum.
The refurbishment project will only take place during the hours of 10:00am. until 6:00pm. Where possible, may we suggest that you inform travelers who may check-in during this period, to be aware, as there may be some minimal disturbance reaching their room. Guests who have arrived on long haul flights, may need to take a rest, and should be aware that there is a possibility of some minimal noise disruption.
In the meantime, our public areas and our restaurant outlets will be open as usual and are not expected to be affected.
Pathumwan Princess Hotel will finish the 1st phase of its beautification project in early September 2008 and will be gearing up to welcome our guests with our new look. We apologize again for any inconvenience, however, we would like to stress that every effort is being made to curtail any negative impact to our gusts and visitors.
